Staying at Condover Hall
Set in 78 acres of fantastic countryside and gardens, your family is sure to experience history, beautiful countryside and incredible activities during your stay within the grounds of our elegant Grade I listed manor house.
It’s not just our centre that pays homage to the Elizabethan period, with many of our activities taking on a theme of their own with the rise in popularity of Robin Hood fables during this time. Families can take to the archery range to fine-tune their Robin of Loxley archery skills on the range, or head into the forest and fly through the trees like Robin’s Merry Men on the zip wire.

Exploring the surrounding area
Condover Hall is located just outside Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The town is set amidst glorious countryside near the Welsh border and is classed as one of England’s finest medieval market towns. Charles Darwin was born and educated in Shrewsbury, and all around, you will find reminders of his association with the town amongst the timber-framed black & white buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways.
The River Severn forms a loop around the town centre offering gentle riverside walks. The great location of Condover Hall means families can use the manor as a base and visit local attractions, such as Alton Towers or the beautiful national park of Snowdonia.
