Holding Deposits
Now you can see exactly how much holding deposit you need!
Looking to plan your next activity residential but unsure how many students will be in your group?
We have placed holding deposits into 4 categories depending on your estimated size of your group. This will allow you to easily plan a deposit schedule for your JCA school activity residential before the end of the summer term.
10 to 25 paying students – £1,000 +VAT
26 to 49 paying students – £1,500 +VAT
50 to 100 paying students – £2,000 +VAT
101+ paying students – £2,500 +VAT

Cancellations
You can now drop up to 20% of paying students free of charge!
Worried some students may still have their residential trip letter at the bottom of their bags or emails to parents are getting lost in the ether? From initial bookings to deciding on your final numbers, you’ll avoid any cancellation payments should your group size drop by up to 20%.

How our flexible booking terms can work for you…
So, what does this look like in practice?
If you were to have a group of 40 paying students and 4 adults your holding deposit would be £1,500.
You then have up until 27th June 2025 to confirm your numbers.
Should your numbers drop to confirm 36 paying students, you will be within the 20% bracket avoiding any cancellation charge.

Please note, the ‘Flexible Booking Terms & Conditions‘ are available on school residential bookings which are made between 14 January 2025 and 30 April 2025 (inclusive) for departure dates between 1 February 2026 and 14 November 2026 (inclusive)
In the event your group cancellations exceed the threshold, there will be a 20% charge against the holding deposit already paid. Should you wish to cancel your entire booking, your full holding deposit will be retained. From this stage, any further cancellations will be applied using our standard terms and conditions found here
