Bringing together a round-robin junior football tournament and on-site adventure activities at our Condover Hall centre, junior teams can enjoy the best of both worlds in a weekend to remember.
Groups will be sent their final activity itinerary two weeks prior to their departure date. However, to gain a greater insight into how we structure the football weekend at Condover Hall, we have put together an example itinerary.
As well as teams having their own dedicated instructor for the duration of their stay, all of our instructors are trained on our land-based activities. Specialist JCA watersports instructors are used for our water-based activities and will provide tuition and guidance to support our visiting teams.
Football Itinerary
Friday afternoon | Meet your JCA instructor and explore the estate before dinner
Take the chance to look around Condover Hall before settling down to a hearty dinner in preparation for the weekend ahead.
Friday evening | Get to know your competitors & evening entertainment
Meet your rival teams and undertake an assortment of activities while trip organisers get briefed on the format of the weekend. Evening entertainment for the children begins at 19:00 and runs until 21:00.
Whilst the teams have fun exploring the centre and the activities on offer, the teachers can relax in the bar area or teachers’ lounge.
Saturday morning and afternoon | A day full of football
Let the football commence! All teams will travel off-site to the state-of-the-art 3G pitches for a morning full of fantastic 5-a-side football competitions! All junior football tournaments will be played at the local Shrewsbury Town Community Football Hub (Address: Oteley Rd, Shrewsbury SY2 6ST).
Teams will get a well-deserved lunch between 12:30pm – 2pm at the football venue and will get ready for more football in the afternoon! The tournament runs to knockouts, semi-finals and finals! You will then have the prize presentation.
Saturday Evening | Entertainment and relaxation
Players can enjoy a silent disco while you head off to the bar to relax for a cheese and wine evening (on the house).
Sunday morning and afternoon | Enjoy the activities at Condover Hall
Make the most of your last day and enjoy all the activities we have on offer at Condover Hall. Activities include (but are subject to change); abseiling, aerial trek, climbing wall, high ropes, trapeze, laser maze, grid of stones, gladiator wall, zip wire, laser conquest, tunnelling, archery and lots more.
For lunch, choose between packed lunch or hot lunch before departing Condover Hall*.
